Spoon!

There are a few words that LO is still learning to say correctly.  I think I've listed them here before.  Among them are "girl," "squirrel," "Scout," and "spoon."  Two days ago LO asked me for a "spoon" and I suddenly noticed he actually said "spoon" rather than "soom!"  I asked him to say it again, then praised him for correctly pronouncing it.  When DH got home, we surprised him with this new skill.  I guess we made such a big deal out of it that LO is pretty pleased with himself.  Yesterday he would just randomly stop playing, get my attention then triumphantly say "SPOON!" and giggle.  So cute.
