Steps in the right direction

The other great thing about our stay-cation is that DH and I both got to witness a little progress in LO's walking. This has been the subject of much concern, discussion, and prayer over the last month or so. We each (Nanny K included) had seen him take one or two steps, but they were infrequent (like once every couple of weeks), and usually involved him carrying a toy or being otherwise distracted. In the last week, however, DH and I noticed LO taking a step or two nearly every day. Then, tonight, DH and I were both playing with LO and his new blocks, when he took five or six steps!!!!! We are both ecstatic that we saw it together and are so grateful for his progress. It will probably be a while before we can get him used to the camcorder enough to get it on tape, but we promise to post it as soon as we can. YEAH for LO!
