Happy Halloween!!!

Our little pumpkin had a rough day.  He has been sick the entire month of October, and consequently has not had a good night's sleep in just as long.  I caught a few smiles from him this past weekend as he played Superman, but there were none to be had today.  I think he had fun at his school party and getting treats, but otherwise this day is best remembered in pictures.

A superman smile before we went to a "party" this past weekend

Walking in for Halloween parade with Ms Madlen and his class (notice Superman's sidekick "Lovie")

Superman sees Mama and Dada and makes a beeline

Superman and Mama with his treat bag and pumpkins

Tickle or treat!

"smile Superman!"

Forget flying, our Superman prefers to off-road and look for sticks

Found some!

All done trick-or-treating; time to fly home

For a Halloween treat, LO got to choose one piece of candy to eat (plus whatever junk he consumed at school that I did NOT ask about!)  Given a choice between a Reese's cup and plain M&Ms, he chose the Reese's.  Aunt Cat would approve!  Then off for bath and bedtime for our tired guy...who took at least 30 minutes to fall asleep in spite of himself.

The high point of our day was a Dada who had to work today (to payback the days he took to be with LO on his birthday party), but still managed to take time off to be at school for LO's Halloween parade and be home early to go trick-or-treating.  Honey, I know that must have made for a very stressful and hectic day for you.  Thank you SO much!  Without your help we would not have any pictures, and I'm not sure we would have made it through the day.   It certainly wouldn't have been as fun!  Thanks for putting us ahead of work...it really meant a lot.
