18 month check-up stats
Today was LO's 18 month check-up. These appointments always make me think about just how far we've come and how much he's changed. What a joy to be able to report today that LO is walking well, growing well, behaving like a toddler, and we have no concerns! LO likes to make the bathroom scale turn on while I am spraying out his morning diapers, so I have weighed him on it a few times recently. At home he's weighed 26 1/2 or 27 lbs over the last 2 weeks. At today's appointment (he used the big boy scale, but was a wiggly, anxious mess) he weighed 26 lbs (maybe) and was 31 3/4 inches long. That put him at exactly 50th percentile for height and weight. His head was at 75th percentile (um, he might of gotten that from me). True to toddler form, he started crying as we entered the building and kept that up through the entire visit until he said "thank you" on the way out the door. No more shots (or visits, hopefully) for 6 more months. We are so grateful for such a healthy and delightful little boy!
